Description

Giorgio Strehler's legendary production filmed at the Paris Opera with a cast that includes the greatest Mozarteans of our time. In 2010, 37 years after its creation, it was again a triumph at the Opéra Bastille with a new generation of performers: Ludovic Tézier (Count Almaviva), Barbara Frittoli (the Countess), Ekaterina Siurina (Susanna), Luca Pisaroni (Figaro) and Karine Deshayes (Cherub). As musical director, Philippe Jordan was awarded the best of the Orchestra and Choir of the Paris National Opera. As a bonus of this edition, an interview with Humbert Camerlo who worked for a long time with Giorgio Strehler and directed the production for this revival.
