Description

Three singular visions of dance and the stage are brought together for this show full of poetry and virtuosity.
A melancholic embrace in homage to Vaslav Nijinsky, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui's duet Faun opens this program, accompanied by two creations. Invited for the first time, the German Marco Goecke, whose choreographic language is distinguished by its avant-gardism and inventiveness, defines his work as "a waking dream". The Swedish Pontus Lidberg, also a filmmaker and notably known for his film The Rain, questions marriage and its meanings in the 21st century to the music of Stravinsky's Wedding.
