Description
In this piece conceived for the Opera Ballet in 1994, choreographer Angelin Preljocaj achieves a subtle balance between classical inspiration, carried by Mozart's music, and the modernity of his choreographic language. The chiseled sets evoke the elegance and delicacy of French gardens and the costumes are inspired by those of the Enlightenment. Evolving along an imaginary map of the Tendre, guided by strange gardeners, the dancers awaken to love, from the meeting to the games of seduction, from shyness to attraction, from resistance to the sweetness of abandon in the flight of a sublime pas de deux. Even today, this timeless work questions the path of feelings and explores the codes of love.Product information
