Vibrations Program - June 2026 - Opéra Garnier
Description
Vibrations brings together three leading voices in contemporary dance for an evening of exceptional intensity. Blending physical power, raw emotion, and choreographic virtuosity, this program celebrates the richness and diversity of today's dance creation.
The evening opens with Dreams This Way, Micaela Taylor's first creation for the Paris Opera Ballet. Hailing from Los Angeles, the choreographer brings her athletic, instinctive movement language to the stage, where expressive bodies and faces interact with striking energy.
In Solo for Two, Mats Ek presents a work of remarkable simplicity, in which the stripped-back movement vocabulary reveals the full complexity of human relationships. Now part of the Paris Opera Ballet's repertoire, this iconic piece reflects the Swedish choreographer's profound sensitivity and artistic depth.
Finally, The Seasons' Canon by Crystal Pite transports audiences into a hypnotic world. Set to Max Richter's electrifying reimagining of Vivaldi's The Four Seasons, this masterful work-now one of the company's most beloved productions-captivates through the collective force of its choreography and its visceral intensity.
An unmissable program that brings together three singular choreographic worlds, offering a vibrant, poetic, and deeply contemporary artistic experience.
