Description

The Paris Opera Ballet is one of the most active dance companies in the world. Its dancers, accustomed to dancing between 5 and 7 hours a day, thrive on working with rehearsal coaches and choreographers, but above all on the stage and their relationship with the public.

In 2020, the pandemic turned the practice of their art upside down. Never before had they been away from the stage of the Palais Garnier and the Opéra Bastille for so long.

This film, a witness to a unique moment in the history of the Ballet, follows the daily life of its dancers from their first studio class to the reopening of the performance halls, including rehearsals for Rudolf Nureyev's La Bayadère.
